February and March 2010

February was characterized by the anticipation of the adventure to come - New York!

The 15th of February me, Tove and Magnus headed to the airport for a salsa vacation in New York. Little did I know how much it would affect me.

The first two weeks all three of us stayed in a beautiful apartment on 1st Avenue. We surprised Magnus by taking him to the New York City Ballet as a gift for his 40th birthday. He surprised us by only turning 39. Probably the most expensive 39 yo-present I'm ever going to buy.

We all nurtured our inner geeks by tending to our crops and animals in Farmville.

We met a whole bunch of wonderful people.Ronald, Tove, Marlon, me and Valentine at LCL.

Leon introduced us to the fabulous Lilly one night at Jimmy Anton's.

We did some shopping.

And a couple of touristy things, this is on top of the Empire State Building.

The trip consisted of dancing, meeting new people, eating and some shopping. The city of NY turned out to be very addictive.

When we got back mid March the Scandinavian Salsa Congress gave us just about two weeks to rest before we were at it again.
